War never changes, it almost goes without saying by now. Not much is left of the human race after it chose to eradicate itself with atomic fire on that fateful October day in 2077. The end, many thought, had come. But it appeared to be no more than a clean slate. For what that's worth... Out of the rubble A once mighty society rebuild, in many shapes and forms. Old and new ideas resurfaced, But war... War never changes

You are a lone wanderer in the Empire Wasteland. A Northern frontier of these once mighty United States of America. And although you might think of it as cold, because of the certain "Hot Summer" from days past, the climate, even in winter is warm and sunny. This once incredible metropole now houses a variety of Societies:

    An Empire Wasteland Map 0.3

'Sanford' a small residential block converted into a safezone and eventually a working community they typically advanced first aid for favors.

'The People's Republic of Chinatown' on the southside is a communist fortress of Red Chinese sympathizers, convinced that one day, their comrades will liberate them.

the 'Raiders Camp' above Queen's ruins is a force to be reckoned with, they are even in the posession of a working prewar Humvee!

'Broadway & Timesquare' are now the center of town, really. Enjoying working electricity, think of it as a smaller New Vegas, filled with theater and casino joints. If you're looking for vice and leisure, you've come to the right place.

'Governor' based on Governor Island is a settlement with a clinic, a research center owned by a mysterious doctor who rarely leaves the island... Then again, most people who go there never come back.

The rest of this world is not worth mentioning or will be added to, by the power of YOUR imagination. (Which I hope will remain within reason). Remember that all of you have a 'pipboy' which can be used for all sorts of handy things. a Map, Radio, Healthstatus, Date, Inventory Measurement... Is there anything that thing can't do? On the other hand, it is completely up to you on how you will proceed in this hostile wasteland.

      (Lol.)

Rook fell silent then, not having more to say.  He wondered what a place like Fresh Grove would look like.

The aft section wasn't far, given that the ship itself wasn't big.  The cots were simple, like what'd you expect to find on a ship- narrow things with thin matresses, most likely compossed of a vinyl cover and cheap padding.

"This is an ironic step down from the Vault."  Rook was not looking forward to placing his back on that.

        Loading editor
    • "yeah." Morgan sighed. "I wish we could have taken those beds with us. Might just sleep on the floor.."

        Loading editor
    • "That would be counterproductive.  This is undoubtedly more providing."

        Loading editor
    • "I was just making a joke..." Morgan sighed before perching on the edge of the cot. It was already really  uncomfortable.

        Loading editor
    • Rook sat down alongside her, before stretching out on his side.

      "Oh."

        Loading editor
    • "These are really horrid..." Morgan complained, falling quiet and hanging her head awkwardly.

        Loading editor
    • Rook watched her for a moment, trying to come to a consensus, before sliding onto his back and taking up most off the cot.  He then reached over and hooked an arm around Morgan, pulling her down to him.

        Loading editor
    • "You are more comfortable than this poor excuse of a bed." Morgan smiled, resting her head on his chest. "Biogel is very...relaxing to lie on."

        Loading editor
    • "Organic substrate."  Rook corrected.  "Tissue molded to my endoskeleton.  It is as realas yours.  But it requires extensive periods of time or biogel to repair."

        Loading editor
    • "Oh right. Silly me for forgetting." Morgan giggled. "It is still very comfy. How...How are the injuries?"

        Loading editor
    • Rook hesitated.  "I am healing."

        Loading editor
    • "I sense a 'but' in there somewhere." Morgan uttered in concern for her special friend. "If us laying like this is hurting you, or causing you discomfort, you would say, right?"

        Loading editor
    • He hesitated again.  "Right."

        Loading editor
    • "Ah! It is!?" Morgan squirmed free and hopped off onto the floor. She backed away and held her hands to her chest.

      "S-sorry! I...I didn't mean to hurt you."

        Loading editor
    • "I am not hurt."  Said Rook, looking a little perplexed, like he didn't want to admit weakness.

        Loading editor
    • "Rook, we're special friends. We have to be honest with each other." Morgan said quietly. "Tell me, truthfully.

      Are you in pain?"

        Loading editor
    • "My back feels bad."  He finally admitted.

        Loading editor
    • "Sit up and let me look at it..."

        Loading editor
    • "Man, this is taking forever I need to rest." Gabriel said. He got up nd passed the two couples room and went into the room next to them. Gabriel then hopped on the bed and closed his eyes, Whiskers sleeping right next to him on the floor.

        Loading editor
    • Rook sat up on the bed and rolled his shoulders forward, exposing his back to Morgan.  The flesh was angry and red, nicely scortched from the acid.  The burns covered his shoulder plates, and just over top his spine.

"Can you fix it?"  He asked, turning his head slightly to look at her.

        Loading editor
    • Gabriel could not sleep because of the two talking. "Guys, whisper, I'm trying to sleep!" gabriel shouted, and closed his eyes again.

        Loading editor
    • "Awh Rook..."

Morgan sat on the bed behind him, gently touching the area around the burns. "We'll need biogel or some stimpaks..but ya, I can fix it."

        Loading editor
    • He had turned ever further, to watch her face as she examined the burns.

      "That is good to hear."

        Loading editor
    • Morgan smiled and lowered her voice to a low whisper. "I can't let some burns stop you can I? What friend would I be then?"

        Loading editor
    • Gabriel sighed, he could still hera them. "You guys are barely talking any quieter, as I said QUIET!" Gabriel shouted once again. This time more angrier he theen trieed to get back to sleep.

        Loading editor
    • "My partner,He corrected, "who does not fix my burns."

Rook leaned over then, and pressed his lips to her's.

        Loading editor
    • Morgan was taken aback by Rooks spontanaity and giggled like a child as she pulled away. "What was that for? I haven't even fixed you yet."

        Loading editor
    • "You do not need to ask what it's for."  Rook said, trying to get closer to her agian.  "Just assume I do it because you are special."

        Loading editor
    • Morgan looked at the floor. "I'm not that special, Rook." She whispered, noting how close he was trying to get. She leaned against the wall and glanced up at him.

        Loading editor
    • Rook canted his head.

      "Why say that?"

        Loading editor
    • "Well, I get angry easily and I...I dunno..." She fumbled her words, looking nervous. "I guess I'm just not proud of some of the stuff I've done."

        Loading editor
    • Rook set his hand on top of her's, trying to be reassuring.

      "Such as?"

        Loading editor

      "I do not..."

    • Gabriel still heard them. "Remember that deal? You said I can come along as long as I did not bother you, well your bothering me!" Gabriel shouted. He went back in his little room and knocked on the wall, and then just hopped on bed, and tried to sleep.

    • "Then no one holds you responsible for what Sanford did."

        Loading editor
    • "Mmm..." Morgan fretted. She gave Rook a weak smile. "Thanks."

        Loading editor
    • Rook looked at Gabriel with a blank expression before walking out, shutting the door behind him.  He returned to Morgan, looking a little confused.

      "He told me to leave."

        Loading editor
    • "Did you say something mean?" Morgan asked, genuinely feeling like an idiot for sending him in the first place.

        Loading editor
    • "No.  I only asking him why he was irritating oyu."

        Loading editor
    • Morgan laughed quietly. "Rook, asking why they are irritating someone, can be seen as hurtful..."

        Loading editor
    • Gabriel heard them and lisented. "He is just another commonwealth robot, why teach him when he is as dumb every single dog I meet! Just because I screamed from a nightmare does not make me irrattating, on wait, he does snot know about nightmares, he does not know anything!" Gabriel shouted.

        Loading editor
    • "Oh.  Why does it matter?  We do not bother Garry or Heather when they make noise.  Why does the boy matter?"

Rook looked like he hadn't heard a word of that and contineud to stare unflinchingly at Morgan.

    • Gabriel then stopped talking and cried all over again. And then he shouted so loud everyone all over the boat could hear it.

        Loading editor
    • "Because he is young." Morgan explained, glancing a glare at the wall. She placed a gentle hand on Rooks arm. "And emotional...and...alone. Sorta like how I was before I found my way here."

        Loading editor
    • "So I must be his friend?"

        Loading editor
    • "Mom, mom, I need you, I'm all alone!" he shouted. He was a mess. Then everything got silent.

        Loading editor
    • "I...think it is best if I was his friend." Morgan decided. "You might just annoy him a little."

With that, she headed to the boys room and knocked on the door, entering before she was given permission.

      "Kid, are you alright?"

        Loading editor
    • What morgan saw was Gabriel in a cornr tears streaming down hisface. The bed alll wet and his face looked like a mess. "No......I have no one, i'm all alone, i want to be with my mom again, and I can't." The whole room was also messy.

        Loading editor
    • Morgan looked around, not really bothered by the mess. She wandered over to the corner and sat next to Gabriel.

"You...aren't alone kid. You got us and uh...Rook as well. Sorry about him."

        Loading editor
    • "I hate him, I despise that android, he is just another one form the commonweallth. And I thought you hate people." Gabriel said. The room also started to smell.

        Loading editor
    • "He's more than that you know..." Morgan mumbled. "And I don't...hate people per say. I just find them highly annoying sometimes, and it makes me incredibly angry. Don't you feel that way too?"

        Loading editor
    • "I first thought that I could get along with everybody but when those raiders killed my mom, I hated everybody, the man who killed her, his smile while looking at me, haunted me. So I hated everybody, and never wanted to do anything with them. My uncle died a couple of days after too, he was only the only person I liked after the incident. He worked at Broadway or times Square, killed by two people....." Gabriel then got silent after that.

        Loading editor
    • "Pff hope you get the pricks responsible." Morgan scoffed. "Should just stab them if you ever run into them again."

        Loading editor
    • "Wait, I heard one of them was a android, I'm talking about the onnes who killed my Uncle after my moher, one was said to be a android, was it Rook who did that? Was it? And also the ones who killed my mother, there's something else about them." gabriel explained to Morgan.

        Loading editor
    • "Rook wouldn't have done that to your Uncle." Morgan reassured the child. "He's a good man. Better than some actual men I know."

      Hamy...

"What about the ones who killed your mother? What something else?"

        Loading editor
    • "His smile, the way they killed her, it's not normal, he had a blade, it feels he's more powerful than any raider I saw." Gabriel then got goosebumps and shivered. "Are we there yet?" Gabriel finally asked.

        Loading editor
    • "I will keep an eye out for you, alright kid. You ever see him again, call for Rook and I. We'll explode him." Morgan said, nodding in determination.

"As for being there, we haven't ben moving, kid. We're resting here before we head out to Fresh Grove in the morning."

        Loading editor
    • (I'm am kinda busy so I have to get off.) "Oh ok, I forgot." Gabriel said. Whiskers then came in, opped onto the bed and cuddeled with Gabriel.

Morgan stood up. "I'll come get you in the morning, don't worry." She gave him a small smile and headed back to her room.

    • Rook was sitting on the bed, cleaning his guns.

      "Is he secured?"

        Loading editor
    • "He is calm now." Morgan smiled. "I could be a totally great mother." She added with a snicker as she sat next to Rook.

"You would."  He agreed, just for the sake of agreeing.

      "Should he...bunk with us?"

    • Rook looked over at the bed, then at the floor, knowing he'd end up there if Gabe did.

      "It is your choice."

        Loading editor
    • "I'll take the floor, don't worry." Morgan sighed. "You need the bed so your back doesn't get all infected. It's fine."

        Loading editor
    • "You will not sleep on the floor.  You are ill."

        Loading editor
    • Gabriel appeared in the doorway. "Can I sleep with you guys?" he asked them. His pet behind him.

        Loading editor
    • "Yeah of course, kid." Morgan said sympathetically. She hopped off the bed and sat on the floor before Rook could move.

"Sickness, is better than risking infection, hun. You should know that. You get a bunk too."

        Loading editor
    • Rook relented, sitting back on the bed.  He did need a cooling cycle, and Morgan was right.

        Loading editor
    • Gabriel then hopped onto the bed and got out his stuffed bear. He hugged it tightly, and Whiskers hopped onto the bed too, sleeping on Gabriel. The stufefd bear emitted a sound that his mother made, and put her voice in there, so when ever Gabriel pulls the string his mother talks. Gabriel then pulled the string. "I love you Gabriel." the bear said.  After a couple of minutes later Gabriel finally spoke. "I love you too, moma." And gabriel then drifted off to sleep.

Gabriel shouted, and reloaded his revovler to make sure, that if Rook tries anything, he'll shoot him.

Rook looked at Gabriel, meeting the boy's eyes with an inhuman stare.  He had been cleaning his shotgun, as usual, and the lever-action repeating firearm sat in his lap.

"Lower your weapon or I will not be responsible for my actions."  Rook said calmly.

"Rook." She hissed. "Gabriel. Both of you! Calm the fuck down and act like adults!"

The android glanced over at Morgan, deadly serious.

Rook began a speech for Gabriel, looking into the boy's eyes.  "No more weapons.  We are neutralizing you as a threat.  There are two commands.  From now on you will speak when spoken to and you will follow orders.  You are a subordinate.  No more guns.  No more crying.  No more restroom breaks.  There is no restroom!  You will be obedient, like your rat creature.  Do we understand each other?"

Hamilton continued to wander the streets between Palowski and Lady Liberty's head, the Wastelander cared little for the dangers of the lower wasteland, he just knew that the upper parts of the Empire Wasteland were inaccessible to those who weren't willing to brave a jungle to reach them and to him, they sounded the least accessible.

As he made his way through the side streets, he could feel his injuries flaring up a little, a faint sting in his side from where the mirelurk had dug its claws into him. He winced and grabbed at his patched suit, turning his head off to the side as he wrapped his fingers around it, suppressing the pain as best he could.

Christ... I need some fucking pain killers... He thought, wincing and giving his head a stern shake before turning his attention back to the road ahead.  There was something about this clearing that seemed off to him, it was too tranquil. Normally there were a few rad roaches scuttling around along the ground, which at least indicated that there wasn't anything worse nearby but here? Nothing...

Ending on that cheery thought, Hamilton glanced up at the sky above him as he came to a halt, his wounds were starting to flare up to the point that he just had to. He considered the possibility that he wasn't ready to leave his 'wife's' hospitality but then he remembered where exactly he was sleeping and he was pretty sure that she would have fed him oil, thinking that it was 'tea.'

Hamilton paused, panting heavily to catch his breath as he felt his vision blur in and out as he tried to control his breathing... There was a sure fire way to close this wound, he just needed to feed...

It was then that he was startled by the echo of a rifle blast, followed immediately by the 'plink' of a nearby car. A sharpshooter had tried to surprise him but he unfortunately couldn't shoot for shit, Hamilton ducked as soon as he heard the shot and took cover behind one of the vehicles.

He heard the gunshot ring out across the district a second time, feeling the bullet flying over his head but completely missing him as it flew into a nearby building, shattering what remained of its ancient windows.

The Slaver hopped up to his feet and rushed across the street, finding himself to be followed by voices, who were argued about his current position.

Hamilton ran through the apartment building and rushed through to the back, where he found himself in an old courtyard, he looked around, frantically as he heard the sound of boots pounding against the stone behind him, the sound of which was rapidly approaching.

"There he is, let's fuck 'im up!" One of his pursuers yelled, elegantly spoken as he was.

Hamilton veered off to his left and ran into the building, that was apparently important enough to have a courtyard as he burst through the open door, he heard the radio echo throughout the hallways, echoing a song that he knew but just couldn't place...

      ()

He looked around, panting for breath as he tried to find a room to use as a stronghold before darting off up the stairs. These rooms typically only had one entrance and one exit, so at least he'd be able to hold his ground for a bit before the onslaught came...

The Slaver ran up two flights of stairs, circling around the spiral staircase as his sides began to split, causing him to stop at the top as he collapsed against the wall, taking a moment to catch his breath as he did his best to resist the pain. He took a deep breath as he looked around, trying to find an ideal spot...

He pushed his way through the corridor, drawing his Barretta as he got it at the read, frantically looking from left to right before entering one of the rooms. Tucking the Barretta in behind his shirt, he drew his Chinese Assault Rifle and kept it aimed at the door, wrapping his finger aroudn the trigger as he got ready to gun down the first son of a bitch who entered.

The first Raider, donned in Red American Football gear, brandishing a nail board, entered the room and immediately met a 5.56 round to the face, sending his head flying back as his brains sprayed across the hallway, giving the cream wallpaper opposite a new coat of red.

"Fuck!" A Raider snapped, leaning against the wall as he got his barely cobbled together pistol, which was most likely being held together by its rustic metal frame. Hamilton fired three shots into the wall, which went right through the wall and through the Raider's exposed back, killing him instantly.

He slid down the wall and fell sat up, his hands relaxed and fell to the side as his head slumped forward, his final act of resistance came out as little more than a weak groan. The Wastelander didn't have much chance to celebrate as he began to hear Dogs barking on the lower levels, most likely sent in to flush the building out.

Hamilton hissed as he realised that he'd have to run, he decided that he wouldn't waste his time and got to it, jumping up to his feet as he peered out of the doorway as he heard the tiny pounding sound of dog paws as they hits the stairs, their barks, growls and snarls as they closed in on their prey.

He immediately ran for the suite at the end of the hallway, figuring that it most likely lead somewhere that could be used as an escape route. Any other day, he would have stuck around and killed every last one of these fuckers before killing their dogs and eating like a king for weeks but he knew his limitations, due to his weakness.

He turned around and fired his last shot at the dogs, tossing his now empty rifle to one side before he burst through the old, Edwardian-style doors, examining his surroundings and seeing the multiple exits before nodding and turning his attention back to the doors, slamming them shut together...

      -

() Hamilton turned around as he adjusted his tie, which was still a little jagged from where that prick tried to grab at it.  Either way, the threat had been dealt with, if he even was a threat to begin with...

"Well?" A nazaly Old British voice snapped, prompting the Assassin to turn back, metting his employer in the face.

"No, Mister Tenpenny, no evidence to suggest that he wanted to kill you. If Shipton has sent an assassin, they aren't among his bodyguards."

'Mister Tenpenny' sighed, folding his arms as he veered off to the right and shook his head, just as frustrated by the situation.

"It seems that Mr Shipton's assassin maybe hiding else were... Couldn't he have sent me a band of mercenaries instead? That would've been far more tollerable, I could've bought them off..."

"What makes you so sure that he's trying to assassinate you?" Hamilton asked, folding his arms and narrowing his eyes in suspicion as he honestly couldn't see any evidence that Tenpenny's potential business partner had been hiring assassins, hell he'd found proof that he hadn't in the fact that non of his bodyguards were carrying anything that suggested that they would make an attempt on his life.

"It's obvious, the deal he offered me suggests that he's either an idiot, a madman or someone who knows that the best thing that he can get out of it is a chance to meet me face to face and try to kill me himself, maybe take the tower in the process.

These high roller types, from up north... They think that they're brilliant players, when actually they're losers, who have moved down a league."

"If you're so certain, why did you invite him inside?" Hamilton asked, confused by the Old Man's tactics but willing to learn from them if they weren't random shots in the dark.

If they were, then he'd just kill Shipton, after he'd killed Tenpenny and secure a place for himself, Burke or Gustavo.

"Well, better to deal with the problem here and now, than to allow him time to come up with a better plan. I have enough enemies out in the Wasteland, I want to keep the more powerful and influencial ones, no matter how pathetic they may seem, to a minimum."

The soon to be Slaver fell silent, wondering if Tenpenny was really testing Shipton or if he was testing his newest assassin's deduction skills.

Either way, Hamilton got the feeling that this was going to be a long night...

"I fear that I must return to my Guest, in the lounge... There's only so long that Burke can keep him entertained with pointless filler conversation." The British Landowner sighed, turning back towards the lobby as he begins to walk away.

"I'll have Mister Burke with me at all times, don't disappoint me now..."

Hamilton fell silent as his gaze veered off, realising that he would have to start examining the guests some more. The only member of staff that Shipton had left was his close, personal bodyguard but he wouldn't use such a man for the assassination. He'd be too close to the action and would risk getting caught in the crossfire.

That meant that the assassin, assuming that there was one, was walking among the guests. After ensuring that his tie was appropriately adjusted, Hamilton stepped out of the room and re-entered the party as he continued his search for the other killer...

    • "Please, do not fight eachother!" Morgan called out before waving and turning back to the Wasteland.

Gotta run fast so I can have at least two minutes alone before he follows me...

    • He then entered the room, and found Rook. Gabriel was slient and stood right by the doorway.

    • Rook glanced up at Gabriel.

      "Morgan reaquired you?"

        Loading editor
    • "Yes, and one thing, don't tal to me, don't bother me, and don't even look at me, don't give me orders, or anything!" Gabriel shouted.

    • Rook simply nodded and looked away, now thoroughly minding his own buisness.

    • Gabriel then hopped onto the bed, and looked at his rveovler, just looked at it.

Stupid android, why can't I just shut you down, man, if he even looks at me, I'm done wih him.

        Loading editor
    • Rook, realising that Gabriel had now claimed this territory, went to go occupy himself.

The acid burns were starting to fester and Rook knew that the radiation in the water would kill any bacteria.

He dismounted the boat and moved down the riverbed before shedding what was left of his vault suit and walking into the water.  He sunk like a rock, probably because he was a three hundred point weight, but managed to swim to the surface.  He then mantained position, letting the current wash over him.

        Loading editor
    • Morgan sat down further along the bank of the River, certainly out of Rooks eyeshot. She hugged her knees and looked down to the murky irradiated waters.

      I don't want to go to Governors...I...

It scares me. Not like I will admit that to anyone, though no doubt Rook will be able to tell or something.

Raiders, Plants, hell even Hammy, I can take...

        Loading editor
    • Once he deemed himself decontaminated, he dressed back in his tattered Vault pants and went to go find some Rad-away, so that he could scrub himself of radiation.

        Loading editor
    • Ah I know why he isn't coming after me, I said I might be gone a couple of days. Well then, let's go scavenge!

With that, Morgan rose to her feet and started to walk off, freshly motivated.

    • Martina after getting frustrated from not even finding a inflatable moves his way down to the river, and as he approches he sees a figure.

    • As they both fanned out into the ruins bordering the river, Rook spotted Morgan at a distance, his targetting sight picking her up, and he closed the space between them in a matter of seconds.

"What are you doing out here?"  He asked, his voice a usual monotone but with a touch of concern.  "I thought you were back at the vessal."  He had assumed so, with Gabriel being retrieved in record time.

    • Gah so...close...

"I was...going to go find some supplies and just...relax and think a little." Morgan said quietly.

      "I just...really want to...go is all..."

    • "No I am not!" Morgan snapped. She started walkng off, hoping to get away, but knowing it would be terribly difficult to escape an android.

"Okay."  Rook agreed, not really wanting to make Morgan angry.

"I wish to gather supplies. L-last time I checked, I didn't need permission..."

"Morgan, what's going on?"  She confused him constantly with both woman and human things, but now he was throughly bewildered.

    • "I already said. I want to go gather supplies and I wish to think on things..." Morgan sighed, her frustration building as she repeated herself again.

(Oh, if Crystals sat here with nothing to do, say he's with Garry and Heather :p)

You got to be kdding, he is a troubled android, man I want to shut him down.

    • "Alright."  Rook said, falling in step with her and quieting, content to be as silent as always.  He naturally assumed he was invited.

        Loading editor
    • "Rook, just leave her alone." Gabriel said. He fully got out and stood and looked at Rook.

If I can just shujt him down, I want too, but Morgan, I'll break her heart, I'm doing it. I'm going to do it, for my sake and everyone's innocent lives he killed.

Gabriel sighed an d just looked down, he had enough.

    • "Rook, just leave her alone."

Rook ignored Gabriel, simply because he cared not for what the boy said.

"That's the thing Rook..." Morgan said softly, placing a gentle hand on his arm. "I...wish to think on my own. "

Rook actually flinched when she spoke the last word, but immediately tried to play it off as cool, brushing his shoulder.

"Ah.  I will go make myself busy elsewhere."  He said, before shuffling off.

    • Morgan glanced to the ground, sharply biting her bottom lip. She looked back at Rook shuffling away so innocently and exhaled sharply before turning round and running off in a panic.

        Loading editor
    • Rook turned as he hard Morgan ran away, wondering what the hell she was doing.  Regardless, she had made it abundantly clear she wanted to be alone for the moment, and thus turned back to head towards the ship.

    • Gabriel walked back inside aand got out bis machine.

He won't longer ever be a threat to me, whiskers, or anybody meets.

Gabriel then turned on the machine. "All I have to do is just do a few buttons and that's it or I can control him, yea control him." Gabriel said. He pushed a few buttons, and the speaker was on.

The sound came in from Rooks brain. "Rook, your mission is to leave at once, your suppossed to leave at once, do not come back here, ever again, and if you do, self-destruct." Gabriel said. The thing was not working, it was broke. All Rook can hear is a buzzing sound.

    • Martin watched the whole alltercation go down, he decieded he would set up a little camp and watch the group

        Loading editor
    • Rook whirled around as he heard Gabe's voice behind him, trying to get his imaginary brain-control-device to work.

"What are you doing?"  The android demanded.

        Loading editor
    • Gabriel's eye widened up as he looked at Rook."What? I didn't say anything." Gabriel said as he was looking at his device. Gabariel tried his best not to look scared and prettended nothing ever happend.

    • "I do not have time for your games, boy."  Rook said, glancing past Gabe to watch Morgan fade into the distance.

Following her won't do any harm...  She could need protection... That is an adequate reason..

With that Rook took off, any thought of Gabe vanishing from his mind as he powerful legs carried him towards Morgan's position.

    • The machine finally worked and Gabriel waited until rook was gone. Gabriel turned the speaker on and spoke into Rook head. "Rook, do nott follow Morgan, go as far as you can from Gabriel, Morgan, Garry, and Heather, and if you go back,, you will find a way to terminate yourself. I repaeat do not come back here ever." Gabriel ordered Rook. The machine could not stop any android, even Rook. Rook's system was flooded with a mind control thing.

    • Morgans blood pounded in her head as she ran. Her legs carried her a fair distance away before she eventually staggered into a dilapidated building that looked like it used to be part of the University.

Slowly and quietly, she closed the door to the Student Accomodation and slid down to rest alongside it.

University...What I wouldn't give to have been alive in that time. I'd find someone to accept me there. I would have had actual friends. An actual family...Not some...robot and a stupid kid.

Why was I abandoned? What did I ever do to my parents?

      Fuckers left me to rot...

Morgan exhaled a shaky breath to calm herself down and keep her from crying.

      Gotta keep moving...

Gabriel ran off to where the direction Morgan was.

"You are not scavenging."  He noted.  "You are putting distance between yourself and the boat."
